The Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation, created in 2010, is home to a vineyard nestled between Montélimar, Grignan and Saint-Paul 3 Châteaux, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. The production of this AOP is 74% red wines.

Red wines

The red wines, from a combination of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, reveal diverse flavors. Marselan added recently to the appellation adds fruity and spicy notes.

The red wines of this AOP, have shades ranging from bright ruby to dark red, enhanced by a violet reflection. These wines have aromas of spices, red and black fruits, liquorice and garrigue. Some even reveal floral, woody and roasted notes. These wines have good aging potential, especially for predominantly Syrah vintages, which can mature up to ten years.

Rosé wines

The rosé wines of this AOP are composed of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Their nose is fruity and rich in red fruit aromas. These wines offer a range of nuances, both fresh and warm.
